INVEST IN PEOPLE
The need of today: Trust and Involvement

In-House
  • Facility

Besides a few big project for large public gatherings, we should have small, low-overhead temples or centers, that can be easily maintained. So that temple resident devotees will have time for their own spiritual practices and preaching activities, rather then to collect for expensive temples.

  • Participation

To have a congregation that is actively practicing the process of bhakti yoga through regular education and association. Some grhastas should also become active in preaching to grhastas

  • Training

The focus must be to motivate and help people to actively practice sadhana and contribute practical service.

  • Inspiration

We may organize quality events to take proper advantage of- and attract senior preachers. Retreats, seminars, festivals, excursions.

Out-Reach
  • Book distribution

Not only to distribute many books through temple devotees and congregation, but also to give quality spiritual support and training, so that book distributors may last longer.

  • Nama Hatta

By regular home programs one can revive a sleeping congregation

  • Indirect / Direct Communication

We should give attention to new people both through the traditional straightforward programs, such as Sunday feast, hari namas, etc. , as well as through indirect ways, such as hatha yoga, vastu, ayurveda , art and other new creative ways.

Efficiency

(Without it people will be disturbed)

Culture of Trust among Leaders
  • Or waste time in policing each other

Trust depleted may never be regained. When trust is gone, it must be replaced by control rules, regulations,structure,3-ring notebooks. The team spends as much time policing itself as doing its job.
Harvey Robbins, Psychologist.

  • Trust must be based on live and let live

If one goes after another, then all have to live behind big defense barriers and relationships become diplomatic and political. Differences have to be resolved by reaching agreement. Such a mood among leaders can generate faith among the general devotees.

The
