The origin of the four regulative principles in Srimad Bhagavatam |
Suta Gosvami said: Maharaja Pariksit, thus being petitioned by the personality of Kali, gave him permission to reside in places where gambling, drinking, prostitution and animal slaughter were performed. (SB 1.17.38) |
It is important to note that the four regulative principles which Srila Prabhupada introduced are not his own personal idea but are based on Srimad Bhagavatam , through them the influence of the age of Kali can be destroyed.
